I’m located in Muskoka, Ontario and I’ve lived here my entire life. It’s safe to say Muskoka has a huge place in my heart, and I also know a lot of hidden gems throughout Muskoka and Algonquin from living here my entire life. That being said, I’m also a avid traveler, leaving a few times a month it seems to travel to new destinations worldwide. Some of my favourite locations I’ve photographed in Ontario are Muskoka, Algonquin, Parry Sound, Kawartha Lakes (You can tell I love being near water) Some destinations I love outside of Ontario are British Colombia, PEI, Oregon, Washington State, California, Arizona, Utah, Iceland, Scotland, Italy, Australia, Bali, and Costa Rica.
Places I’m DYING to shoot and will discount for: Norway, Faroe Islands, Ireland, Jordan, Hawaii, Newfoundland, New Zealand, and Morocco.
I think it’s clear I want to go everywhere and anywhere, haha!
I mainly photograph weddings, elopements and engagements, but I love to spend time creating personal work, including travel or lifestyle images, birth photography, families, small businesses and brand photography. I also photograph Airbnb’s on the side as a way to travel more.
A big huge YES! I love to travel and explore new places, and a huge plus is getting to take my camera with me to document an amazing story. If you are interested in booking a travel related session, or traveling somewhere yourself that you’d like me to become a third wheel for, IM IN! Elopements, vacations, destination wedding, send me an email and lets talk adventure. Travel rates may apply.

Absolutely! One of my favourite things to do is exploring and finding the most epic places for photos along the way. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out exploring on one of my days off and stumbled upon the most remarkable places that I just HAVE to shoot at someday. You wouldn’t believe how many awesome locations I’ve stumbled upon organically simply by getting outdoors. We can chat about where you’re most comfortable travelling to and go from there. I’m always down for an adventure, as you will notice most of my work is done in remote places where nature makes a statement! Feel free to reach out and I would love to talk about organizing an adventure session with you!
I use a Canon 5D mark iii, and my favourite prime lenses – the 35mm, 50mm. I also have an underwater housing I use to get some more creative shots in the water. I carry back up gear with me at every wedding, to ensure complete coverage if any of my equipment was not operating right. This includes a second camera body, memory cards that always stay with me, flashes, and extra batteries. These are important moments, and you can never be too careful when looking after people’s memories.
I love being behind the camera, I work hard to make sure everyone’s relaxed and having a good time. I want to create an exciting experiences for my clients, going beyond capturing their session to creating a fun adventure. I would love to be more of a friend than just a vendor on your day, and I want to get to know my couples during their time with me. I love knowing what makes you two the happiest and what really makes your personalities shine through, as I believe that makes for the best and most genuine, emotional photographs. I’ve been told how much I make people feel calm, confident, and relaxed during their photos, and that is so amazing to me to hear as that is how I’d love to feel if I were having photos taken of me! Making sessions exciting and carefree, photographing love, moments and what is so special to people is truly one of the best jobs out there! If you’d love to know anything else about me, feel free to reach out anytime and ask.
You can fill out the beautiful contact form on my website, or send me a quick email with your name, and the type of session you’re looking for. Also, please tell me about yourself! I love getting to know what puts a smile on your face, the first time you laid eyes on your sweetheart, or something unique about you and what you love to do together. It makes for amazing conversation and helps me get to get to know you better, which helps me create the photos that are so much of what you are; ones that mean a lot to you.

I would love to meet you and chat over a warm drink! I am happy to answer any questions you may have at anytime.
It is truly about what works best for you and what you’d love your photos to look like. However, I would highly recommend booking your photos for sunrise or sunset. Early morning, or late afternoon sessions are when the light is the most soft and beautiful. Just before sun up, sun down and twilight are my most favourite times to work, and I find the images that I have produced during these times in the day have been simply stunning.
You venture home relaxed, enjoy an amazing cup of whatever makes you happiest, and leave the rest up to me. Portrait and Engagement Sessions are delivered to you in a beautiful online gallery called Pixieset within two weeks. Weddings are delivered via online gallery within 4 weeks, with a USB of the images via snail mail shortly after. You will receive print rights for all images delivered.
Copyrights in short mean the images remain property of the image creator, me! With print rights, you wouldn’t have ownership of an image for distributing or selling, but do have complete permission to make copies or prints as you’d love them. Feel free to ask me about printing your photographs! We offer beautiful hand crafted albums and prints, and would love to provide you with some information.
I would kindly ask for no edits after your photographs are received. When you hire a professional photographer to create images for you, you are investing in not only the session, but their art and professionalism, which involves lots of hours of careful editing and retouching of each image you receive to make them the absolute best for you.
Unfortunately I do not give out RAW or unedited images, as a professionally edited photograph is me creating and delivering my best work to you; but do trust that you are receiving the most lovely ones. Part of my job is ensuring I document your most amazing moments, and with those may come some blinking eyes, mid-conversation, or light test shots. I deliver about 500-600 of the best wedding images, and ensure multiple shots are taken of each moment so I am able to choose the absolute best one to provide to you. The photos selected for your eyes are the ones that come from the heart; ones we work super hard to get, at the most beautiful and raw moments.
Absolutely! There are so many extremely talented and kind creative professionals in and around our area that I’ve met and have loved working with over the years, and I would love to connect you with them for your day. These include a wide range of Ontario wedding professionals; really kick ass planners, florists, beauty professionals, the most amazing food and desserts, cinematographers, calligraphers, invitation creators, and pretty much anything you can dream up that would fit into a wedding day.
