Last Decemeber Daniela and I tried to plan a shoot when I was visiting the city, but it just wasn’t meant to happen. We stayed in touch, and little did I know, when we connected to try and plan something again this year, that Mike would reach out secretly with a much bigger plan in mind.
Behind the scenes, Mike told me he wanted to propose, and together we planned every detail-right down to a secret signal so she wouldn’t suspect a thing when we were in the right private spot to propose. Afterwards we went back to their room at the Park Lane hotel overlooking the park for a few celebratory drinks before Mike surprised Daniela with an engagement party where all her friends and family were waiting. I knew Daniela was going to have the best husband when he shared all the planning he had done, including booking not one, but three different dinner reservations-just to make sure he had backup plans in case the shoot ran long. So romantic.
